MONFRID (2:17) showed enough in a couple of runs as a two-year-old to suggest he’ll win races at three and the form of his Lingfield second reads well, with the winner having won a handicap at Ascot (off 80) last Friday. The Zoustar colt can land the novice event at Catterick.
Jonjo & AJ O’Neill seem to have found a weak race for PYFFO (2:00) at Hereford. A winner at Market Rasen in late-March, he remains a novice until the autumn and it will be disappointing if he can’t record a second hurdles success in this company.
