Live on Skysports 1: Thu 08.00: Shiv Chowrasia is 66/1 with Ladbrokes to defend his Avantha Masters title in a wide open field.
SSP Chowrasia may not have had a blistering start to 2012, a few top 50 finishes and a missed cut, but at 66/1 with Ladbrokes, he is a very tempting bet at the Avantha Masters, an event he won in 2011 and 2008. He has played the top events on the European Tour this season and is evidently at home at this tournament and should certainly be looked at each way at 1/4 odds for the top 5.
Gregory Havret is another to watch at 22/1 (Betfred) as he looks to improve on last year’s 3rd place and he has been ticking along nicely and should be amongst the challengers.
The tournament fav is 18/1 Joost Luiten (bet365) while Jamie Donaldson can be backed at 20/1 with Skybet.
Marcel Siem’s season is steadily getting better and his 4th last week is a good springboard, he is available at 33’s with bet365.
