Leyton Orient look a good bet at 5/6 (Coral) as they host out of form Oldham in League One and the O’s are unbeaten in twelve.
Leyton Orient have shown no ill effects following their FA Cup adventure, registering a couple of 2-0 victories, against Walsall and Notts County after eventually bowing out of the competition to Arsenal and we see no reason why the O’s won’t grab another maximum haul as they entertain Oldham.
The Latics are desperately short of form, goals and confidence at present having gone eight games without a win, failing to score in six of those and although they showed some spirit in coming back from two goals down on Tuesday before ultimately succumbing to defeat against Sheffield Wednesday, Paul Dickov’s side haven’t found the net on the road for over 400 minutes, so there’s little to dissuade bets on the hosts in this one, at 5/6 with Coral.
Punters can also take that further by backing Russell Slade’s side at 21/10 (Paddy Power) to beat the shot-shy visitors ‘to nil’.
Struggling Plymouth have responded well to going into administration, clawing back six of the ten points deducted after they went administration, with two wins in a week. The Pilgrims have rallied round to give themselves a chance of survival and with Peter Reid’s men seemingly galvanised by their plight, they look a touch high at 3/1 with to land three points at Hartlepool, whose form has been erratic of late.
Another team in trouble that could pick up a positive result are Dagenham & Redbridge. John Still’s side have won their last two to take their points tally over the last ten games to a solid 18 and they certainly head to beleaguered Swindon with their tails up.
The hosts by contrast have gone 13 games without a victory and will be feeling the pressure now that they are bottom of League One. The Robins’ own supporters turned against them as they lost 1-0 to Plymouth on Tuesday and it won’t take long for the fans to voice their disapproval if the Daggers make a decent start at the County Ground. Take an away win then at 11/4 with Skybet.
