Arsenal looked more like their old selves on Monday as they mauled Reading 5-2 and on the back of that result there will be no shortage of punters piling into the Gunners at 3/4 via Betfred as they visit Wigan.
However, it’s worth remembering that the Royals are bottom of the table and prior to that fixture Arsene Wenger’s men hadn’t exactly been impressing on the road, the penalty shootout defeat at League Two Bradford amongst some unconvincing away performances.
Moreover, despite what looks, on the face of it, to be a poor run of form, Wigan haven’t been playing too badly and on home soil they’re worth backing, albeit modestlym to get something from the clash.
The stand out bet however is Skybet’s 11/4 for the spoils to be shared at the DW Stadium. Backed in from an earlier 3/1, the stalemate has obviously been popular with punters and it might be shrewd to follow that cash.
Wigan and Arsenal to draw – 11/4 (Skybet)
