Kenny Dalglish has been cut to 7/4 for the Liverpool job by Ladbrokes following an improved performance at Old Trafford.
Despite his ten men losing 1-0 he is now 7/4 from 2/1 to be rewarded with a full contract. Since the market was formed there have been several new additions as the rumour mill continues to churn and Brian Laudrup and ex-USA coach Bob Bradley are both 10/1 chances with Louis Van Gaal, Dunga And Vincent Del Bosque (all 33/1) managers who would be suitable replacements
Of the existing contenders Martin O’Neill remains the 5/1 second favourite with Frank Rijkaard 6/1.
Alex Donohue of Ladbrokes said: “Liverpool’s vastly improved performance today must be testament to the impact Dalglish has in the dressing room. He has been backed accordingly for the job and continued performances like these would surely see the contract offered early.”
