William Hill have pushed England out to 9/1 from 8/1 for the Cricket World Cup after they got Sri Lanka as their quarter final opponents. Hills rate England at 6/4 to beat Sri Lanka who are 8/15 favourites, but the big match of the quarters is the hosts India vs Australia with India 4/6 to win.
“England are by far our biggest liability and we were not sorry to find out that Sri Lanka stand in the way of a semi-final spot!” said Hill’s spokesman Rupert Adams
