Following his victory in Japan, Sebastian Vettel is favourite for the F1 Drivers Championship at 4/7 with Ladbrokes.
Fernando Alonso is the only realistic challenger at the prices (13/8) while it’s 16/1 Lewis Hamilton and 40/1 or bigger the remainder.
Looking ahead to next season the book is now also open on who will join Alonso at Ferrari leaving Massa the 4/5 favourite. Di Resta and Hulkenberg are the outsiders at 3/1 each while Kobayashi looks sure to stay at Sauber at 1/4.
Alex Donohue of Ladbrokes told betrescue.com: “Vettel remains in pole position for punters. Anyone who backed him at the start of the season is now sitting pretty with Alonso the only apparant threat.”
