Paul Ferguson has one selection for us on Saturday; Clondaw Draft in the Stratford 9.15. Compare odds and bet.
The valuable handicap hurdle at Stratford this evening is a decent contest and, as I was pretty keen on Forgotten Voice for this at entry stage, Nicky Henderson’s main representative Cape Express is respected.
Noel Quinlan’s four-year-old Sky Khan travelled really well at Aintree last time, suggesting a speed test such as this would suit, so it wouldn’t be a surprise to see him go well either, but he needs to take a fairly big step forward in this grade.
Therefore, the day’s sole selection comes in the concluding bumper and in the shape of Clondaw Draft (9:15) who was selected here a couple of weekends back only for him to miss his intended engagement.
Donald McCain’s charge hasn’t been sighted since finishing runner-up to a smart subsequent winner at Bangor back in October and sets a fair standard for the time of year. It will be disappointing if he can’t sign off for his summer break on a positive note.
Saturday’s selection:
9:15 Stratford Clondaw Draft
