With conditions drier than usual for today’s Betfair Chase, MIGHT BITE (3:00) is fancied to justify favouritism for Nicky Henderson.
Last year’s King George winner should relish the track and relatively decent ground, and is therefore fancied to reverse Gold Cup form with Native River.
Down at Ascot I like the chances of KING OF REALMS (12:55) in the novices’ handicap chase.
Ian Williams’ six-year-old has the build of a chaser and goes well at the track, having won a bumper here and having finished runner-up in the maiden hurdle at this meeting 12 months ago. He opened 8-1 on Friday, but was into 6s overnight and should be backed each-way.
