Ralph Beckett’s Mount Nelson gelding won twice on easy ground earlier in the campaign before shaping well at Down Royal. He then failed to make an impact in the competitive Unibet Handicap at Glorious Goodwood.
This looks less competitive, so at 7-1 (bet365) he looks worthy of each-way support, in the hope he improves for the trip.
