Fairyhouse stages a fantastic card on Sunday, with the three Grade 1s the obvious features. Both the Royal Bond Novice Hurdle and Drinmore Novice Chase look cracking renewals, whilst Honeysuckle (2:40) is fancied to maintain her unbeaten record in the Hatton’s Grace Hurdle.
This is her toughest assignment to date, but she is four-from-four at the track and was impressive on her recent reappearance over course-and-distance.
Leading owner JP McManus is well-represented in the valuable handicap hurdle, where both Janidil and Ilikedwayurthinkin, are of interest going up in class, whilst I have been looking forward to seeing the Rules debut of Ferny Hollow, who runs in the concluding bumper. He created a deep impression when winning his Point, before joining his powerful connections for big money.
