It’s John Durkan day over at Punchestown, where Minella Melody (12:50) is taken to make it two wins from two starts over hurdles, in the Listed mares novice hurdle.
Impressive in her Point-to-Point and when winning a bumper at Gowran, she went on to be placed in Graded events at Aintree and Punchestown in the spring, and made a taking winning debut over hurdles last month. That form has since been advertised and she is given the vote to beat the Gordon Elliott pairing.
Another mare to side with is White Hart Lady (3:00) in the Listed mares bumper at Huntingdon. The well-bred daughter of Doyen created a really good impression when making a winning debut at Aintree in late-October and she looks up to scoring at this level.
