Euro2020 Outright and Group Odds

Euro 2020 Outright Betting
The squads for the delayed 2020 European Championship have now been announced and England are now trading at a best price 11/2 with Betvictor to win the tournament, with Gareth Southgate having a squad packed with quality players who are capable of going deep this summer.

The Three Lions will be led into battle by Harry Kane and they look a better version of the team that reached the semi-finals of the 2018 World Cup, with England having a relatively easy group that includes Croatia, Czech Republic and Scotland.

However, the majority of bookies have France as marginal favourites on the outright betting market, with Les Bleus having won the World Cup in Russia three years ago and manager Didier Deschamps has managed to retain the nucleus of the squad who were so successful when landing a second global triumph for the French.

Kylian Mbappe, Antoine Griezmann and Karim Benzema will all bring firepower and Paddy Power offer 5/1 that France claim success at Euro 2020, although they are in a tough group along with Germany and Portugal.

Belgium are next in the outright betting market and the Red Devils are a 13/2 chance with BetVictor to secure their first ever success at the European Championships, although Roberto Martinez will be sweating over the fitness of Kevin de Bruyne and Eden Hazard, both of whom are not currently fit enough to play.

As for Germany, Ladbrokes chalk up 8/1 about Die Mannschaft helping departing manager Joachim Low sign off with a victory and they will be aided by playing their three group games at the Allianz Arena, with Thomas Muller and Mats Hummels having been drafted back into the squad as part of the old guard.

Spain look a decent shout, especially as you can get 9/1 with Coral about a team that recently thrashed the Germans, with Luis Enrique’s side possessing bags of experience despite the notable omission of Sergio Ramos. Captain Sergio Busquets will be looking to lead his country to one final victory.

We certainly shouldn’t overlook the other Iberian team in the European Championship and Portugal come into the competition as reigning champions, even if their success came five years ago when they surprisingly won in France. With Ruben Dias, Bruno Fernandes and Cristiano Ronaldo among the star talent, they have to be given a shout.

There has also been money for an Italy side who are a good deal more attacking under Roberto Mancini than they have been under the majority of recent managers. Ciro Immobile looks like the striker that can spearhead the challenge and the majority of the squad operate for leading Serie A clubs.

The Netherlands have been on the drift and BetVictor are prepared to chalk up 14/1 about a team missing Virgil van Dijk, while the best outsider could be Denmark who are a 28/1 chance with William Hill and they could have a potentially easy route through to the semi-final stage.

Euro2020 Group Betting
Italy are a warm order to win Euro 2020 Group A, with the Azzurri able to call upon home advantage at the Stadio Olimpico and Roberto Mancini’s side are a best price 4/7 with Ladbrokes to go through as table toppers.

It could be an interesting tussle for second spot, with Paddy Power offering 11/2 about both Switzerland and Turkey winning this section, meaning Wales are the rank outsiders, with Robert Page’s side trading at a huge 12/1 with Unibet to claim top spot.

Meanwhile, Belgium are odds-on to win Group B despite injury concerns over Kevin de Bruyne and Eden Hazard, with the Red Devils chalked up at 5/6 with Paddy Power to get the better of the other three teams in the group.

There’s a slight preference for Denmark at the prices, with the Scandinavian side making plenty of appeal at 11/4 with bet365 and they have a sturdy big tournament pedigree which should see them go through.

BetVictor are prepared to go 11/2 about a Russian side who meet Belgium first, with Finland regarded as rank outsiders and Boylesports are really aggressive with their 25/1 quote.

The Netherlands are strong favourites to win Group C although their odds do look a touch skinny despite the fact that they’ll play their group games in Amsterdam, with bet365 offering 2/5 about Frank de Boer’s side.

Ukraine are the first team in the section to take on the Dutch and they are a 21/4 shot with Unibet to claim top spot after an impressive qualifying campaign which saw them finish ahead of Portugal.

Austria are marginally bigger at 6/1 with William Hill although perhaps we shouldn’t rule out North Macedonia at 30/1 with Paddy Power considering they recently toppled Germany in a World Cup qualifier.

The bookies are taking no chances with their quotes about England to win Group D and bet365 are the bravest with their 2/5 about Gareth Southgate’s team claiming top spot in the section.

However, Croatia can’t be disregarded and they’re a 3/1 chance with Ladbrokes to get the upper hand over the hosts as they did at the 2018 World Cup, with Czech Republic and Scotland expected to battle it out for third.

Spain look a likely winner of Group E as they plot a route through to the knockout stage and beyond, with Luis Enrique’s side available at 1/3 with BetVictor to triumph in this section and they will benefit from having home advantage in all three of their group games.

Group F is probably the most intriguing betting heat and we’re really interested to see Portugal trading at 7/2 with bet365 considering that the reigning champions are likely go far under Fernando Santos.

Germany are a 33/20 chance with Betvictor and might benefit from home advantage, with France available at 17/10 with Paddy Power and they are the reigning world champions.
