Premier League Betting Preview

Chris Hutcheon pinpoints the money making opportunities in the Premier League 2025/26 season.  Live Scores | Free Bets.

Live on Sky Sports: Sunday 14:00. Sunderland v Leeds United. Sunderland and Leeds look set to buck the trend when it comes to promoted clubs staying in the Premier League. The Black Cats are sixth in the table and some will argue that the 6/4 with William Hill is a nice price when it comes to beating opponents who have lost six of their eight road games. However, Daniel Farke’s side did recently thrash Palace 4-1 and they’re priced at 15/8 with Betfred.

We might expect defences to be on top at the Stadium of Light and a 1-0 victory in favour of Regis Le Bris’ side can be wagered at 15/2 with bet365, while a 1-1 scoreline might also happen at 11/2 with BoyleSports.

Live on Sky Sports: Sunday 16:30. Crystal Palace v Tottenham Hotspur. Two off-colour London sides meet at Selhurst Park on Sunday afternoon, with Crystal Palace trading as favourites to beat Spurs. The Eagles are 11/10 with Coral to beat a Tottenham side who will be missing the suspended Xavi Simons and Cristian Romero. It explains why Thomas Frank’s side are 5/2 with Ladbrokes for the win.

You can get 23/10 with BoyleSports that it’s honours even in south London, although we might see Jean-Philippe Mateta on the scoresheet. The Frenchman is 4/1 with Bet365 to break the deadlock and take advantage of defensive frailty within the opposition ranks.

Live on Sky Sports Golf: Tuesday 19:30. West Ham Utd v Brighton & Hove Albion. West Ham United are badly in need of points, with a home clash against Brighton offering them the chance to boost their tally. The Hammers are a 21/10 chance with William Hill to topple a Seagulls side who have lost plenty of times on the road. However, Fabian Hurzeler’s side are ensconced in mid-table and they’re the 23/20 favourites with Betfred to claim the spoils.

The draw is priced at 5/2 with BoyleSports to secure a victory and we might see an entertaining clash. With West Ham needing wins, perhaps an open game is on the cards, with Over 2.5 Goals backable at 8/11 with bet365.

Live on Sky Sports Cricket: Tuesday 19:30. Nottingham Forest v Everton. Nottingham Forest sit just above the drop zone and will hope their home form can keep them safe from relegation this term. Sean Dyche goes up against former club Everton and the Tricky Trees are 23/20 with Coral to get the job done in this festive fixture. However, the Merseyside team have claimed a few notable wins on the road this term and they’re priced at 12/5 with BoyleSports.

This could be a clash where the teams cancel each other out. Coral have 9/4 that the game ends all square, with a 1-1 scoreline priced at 11/2 with bet365 and we can see the match heading this way.

Live on Sky Sports Tennis: Tuesday 19:30. Burnley v Newcastle United. Burnley are in desperate need of wins to survive, with bet365 having 4/1 that the Lancashire side are able to edge out Newcastle. It’s not a bad price considering that Eddie Howe’s team have only won one of their eight games on their travels this season. That hasn’t stopped the bookies offering 4/6 (William Hill) that they return to Tyneside with the spoils.

The draw is chalked up at 3/1 with Hills and we quite like the 12/5 with Betfred that there’s a Newcastle win along with both teams finding the net. Alternatively, bet365 have 15/4 that the game is level at half-time before Howe’s side claim a full-time win.

Live on Sky Sports: Tuesday 19:30. Chelsea v AFC Bournemouth. Are Chelsea home bankers to overcome Bournemouth? The Blues will be in many an accumulator and BoyleSports chalk up 6/10 that Enzo Maresca’s side beat a Cherries side who have suffered a downturn in form. If you’re looking for a bigger price about Chelsea, you might consider them at 21/10 with Ladbrokes considering they have a solid defence.

Can Andoni Iraola’s side pull a rabbit out of the hat and land three points? Betfred have 4/1 that the Dorset outfit get the job done and they would be happy to return to the south coast with a point. That outcome is 16/5 with Bet365.

Live on Sky Sports Premier League: Tuesday 20:15. Arsenal v Aston Villa. We’ve got a massive match at the Emirates Stadium on Tuesday night when Arsenal host Aston Villa. The Gunners are hot favourites at 12/25 with bet365 to get the three points although Unai Emery returns to his former club with confidence. The Villans have recently enjoyed a spectacular winning run and BoyleSports chalk up a massive 6/1 that they open up the title race.

The draw is a 10/3 chance with William Hill, with BTTS Yes available at even money with Betfred, although a 1-0 success in favour of Mikel Arteta’s side would come as no surprise. That outcome is 6/1 with bet365.

Live on Sky Sports Football: Tuesday 20:15. Man United v Wolves. Manchester United are seen as home bankers by the bookies to the extent where you can get a best price 7/20 with Ladbrokes that they beat Wolves. They shut Newcastle out on Boxing Day and Betfred offer 7/5 that the Red Devils claim a victory without conceding a goal. Coral have 10/3 that the game is level at half-time before Ruben Amorim’s side kick on for a victory.

Wolves are a 15/2 chance with bet365 to land the spoils, with the draw priced at 17/4 with Betfred. Matheus Cunha will be a warm order at 10/11 with Ladbrokes to find the net, with Patrick Dorgu available at 5/2.

Live on Sky Sports Premier League: Thursday 17:30. Crystal Palace v Fulham. We have a New Year’s Day contest at Selhurst Park when Crystal Palace take on Fulham, with the Eagles 11/10 with Coral to beat the Cottagers. However, Oliver Glasner’s squad look fatigued and there’s definitely a case for backing the visitors. Bet365 have 23/10 that Marco Silva’s side get the job done at Selhurst Park.

You can get 11/5 with Betfred that the clash ends all square, with Coral making BTTS Yes an 8/11 shot, while Harry Wilson could merit a wager to find the net at 11/4 with bet365. Yeremy Pino has shown an eye for goal and he’s a 3/1 poke to be on the scoresheet with William Hill.

Live on Sky Sports: Thursday 17:30. Liverpool v Leeds Utd. Liverpool take on Leeds United at Anfield on New Year’s Day, with the Reds available at 10/21 with Ladbrokes to topple their spirited Yorkshire opponents. Arne Slot is fending without Mohamed Salah and Alexander Isak, with Hugo Ekitike priced at an attractive 9/2 with bet365 to break the deadlock against a visiting team who are improving.

Daniel Farke’s side are 6/1 with bet365 to claim three points in the New Year and Ladbrokes chalk up 17/5 that the clash ends all square. BoyleSports offer 2/1 that we see a home win along with both teams to score.

Live on Sky Sports: Thursday 20:00. Sunderland v Man City. Sunderland have been going toe to toe with every side at the Stadium of Light this season. They’re 5/1 with Betfred to pull off their latest excellent result at home, with Arsenal, Villa and Newcastle among the sides who have failed to win here. At the very least, the Black Cats will be confident of a draw and that is trading at 17/5 with Ladbrokes.

Plenty of punters will be putting Manchester City in their accumulators and William Hill offer 8/15 that Pep Guardiola’s team are the first to win at this ground this season. It could be a backs to the wall display and a 1-0 victory in favour of the visitors can be punted at 15/2 with bet365.

Live on Sky Sports Premier League: Thursday 20:00. Brentford v Tottenham Hotspur. Brentford and Tottenham meet in a New Year’s Day London derby, with the Bees priced at 5/4 with Coral to beat a team coached by their former manager. Thomas Frank is likely to get a warm reception although his Spurs team are outsiders for the victory. You can get 21/10 with Betfred that they find a way to win at the Gtech Stadium.

Brentford have been fairly solid at home this term and a victory to nil can be backed at 3/1 with William Hill, with Igor Thiago available at 4/1 with BoyleSports to break the deadlock. Richarlison could be the best option for visitors and he’s 13/2 with Bet365 to score first.
