Fergie’s Saturday racing tips

Paul Ferguson has two selections for us on Saturday; Indemnity at 3.10 at Ascot and Don’t Mind If I Do (NR) 3.30 at Wetherby. | Free Bets |

There are a couple of nice novice hurdles to start the cards at both Ayr and Wetherby, but I thought I’d tackle the 2m handicaps at Wetherby and Ascot for the day’s two selections.

At the West Yorkshire venue, DON’T MIND IF I DO (3:30) returns from a 275-day break but ought to relish conditions and can strike for an in-form Alan King.

And, at Ascot, Alexei looks sure to go well on the back of his Welsh Champion Hurdle second but with Emma Lavelle in such good form, a chance is taken at bigger odds on INDEMNITY (3:05). Up 6lb for his latest effortless win at Market Rasen, he ought to appreciate the speed test and is worthy of each-way support as he goes up in class.

Saturday’s selections:
3:10 Ascot – Indemnity; 7/2 William Hill
3:30 Wetherby – Don’t Mind If I Do; NR
