Although he faces no easy task under a 6lb penalty, GENTLEMAN TOBOOT (12:48) is fancied to make it 2-2 over hurdles at Exeter. He beat a subsequent handicap winner on debut at Newton Abbot and the shorter trip shouldn’t be an issue on this stiffer track. Klub de Reve is respected after an encouraging run in a strong Newbury maiden, but David Pipe’s bumper winner looks a nice sort.
