Paul Ferguson has two selections for us on Sunday; Letos in the 1.25 at Naas and The Price Of Peace 2.15 at Chepstow. | Free Bets |
The Grade 1 Ballymore Novice Hurdle from Naas is the highlight on Sunday, in which Champion Bumper seventh Sortudo and Saint Baco represent Willie Mullins, whilst Gordon Elliott and Gigginstown also have two runners. At big odds, however, LETOS (2:15) looks worth chancing each-way, as he boasts loads of experience and beat The Nagger Reidy (handicap winner over Christmas) at Naas before travelling really well over further at Carlisle. He will appreciate the drop in trip and could easily outrun his odds (was a best price 25/1 around declaration stage).
Domestically, Chepstow stages a decent card with Baron Noir and Modern Man clashing in the 2m novice hurdle. In the staying novice, course-and-distance winner THE PRICE OF PEACE (1:45) gets the vote for Sean Bowen and Rebecca Curtis. He had earlier shown promise on debut at Ffos Las and looks to be a progressive youngster.
Sunday’s selections:
1:25 Naas – Letos (e/w);
2:15 Ffos Chepstow – The Price Of Peace;
