Ravethebrave is a former points winner and will be popular on his chasing debut for Alan King, but General Kutuzov (1:40) has long had the look of a smart chaser in the making and he is fancied to make a winning debut, despite being off since January. Early price 2/1
Nick Gifford’s charge shaped well without winning in bumpers the season before last and he chased home the classy Royal Charm on his hurdles bow at Exeter last November.
He got off the mark at the third time of asking over timber, when winning by 11 lengths on heavy ground at Lingfield, so conditions at Folkestone on Tuesday should not pose him any problems.
