Premier League Sack Race

have opened a market on how many Premier League bosses will lose/change their jobs during the forthcoming 2011/12 season and make 5 or 6 their 11/10 favourite.

spokesperson Charlie McCann: “In the last two seasons five managers have lost their jobs during the season so perhaps Club Executives are not as fickle as some would have us believe. That said the pressure to remain in the top flight intensifies and, for many of our top clubs, winning trophies is what their highly paid managers are expected to bring to the table. It is possible that our quote of 2/1 for there to be 6 or more casualties next term will have its followers but we still make 4 or 5 our 11/10 favourite.”
